Privacy at TGC Signal means being clear about what stays in your browser, what moves to another site, and what this publication needs to operate.
Overview
TGC Signal is an informational logistics publication and planning-tool environment operated by Top Gun Cargo. This policy explains the privacy implications of using this site. It does not replace the privacy notices of external sites you choose to visit.
Information you provide to planning tools
Many TGC Signal calculators, advisors, checklists, and document generators process the values you enter locally in your browser. Their results are planning aids, and their ordinary interactions use browser memory rather than a TGC Signal account or registration system.
The theme preference is stored in your browser’s local storage so the site can remember whether you selected light or dark mode. We have not found a site feature that creates a user profile or saves ordinary calculator inputs to a TGC Signal account.
Quote requests
Request a Quote links take you to Top Gun Cargo’s existing quote process. Several local planning tools use outbound links with a fixed source identifier; their planning inputs are not automatically included in those links. The Shipping Documents Preview flow is different: after you review its configuration, it can prepare an outbound quote handoff with the reviewed shipment details described on that screen.
Any information you submit through a Top Gun Cargo quote form is handled by that separate quote process and its applicable privacy information.
Analytics and technical information
The current TGC Signal code includes an analytics helper, but it does not send events to an analytics provider. We did not identify Google Analytics, Vercel Analytics, cookie-consent tooling, error-monitoring code, or search-telemetry collection in the site application.
Like most web services, hosting and network providers may process routine technical request information needed to deliver pages. This policy does not attempt to state a retention period or provider practice that is not established in the application.
Third-party services and external links
TGC Signal can read published editorial content from its configured Sanity CMS dataset. Links to Top Gun Cargo, social profiles, and other external resources leave this site. Those services have their own privacy practices, and we encourage you to review them before providing information.
Data retention
Local planning values remain subject to the browser and tool flow you are using. Published CMS content is retained as editorial content. Quote submissions and routine infrastructure records are outside the local planning model and may be handled by the relevant external service. We do not state a specific retention period here because one is not established in the current site configuration.
Children
TGC Signal is intended for logistics professionals and business users. It is not directed to children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the publication, planning tools, or connected services change. The current version will be available on this page.
