What Is Landed Cost and How Is It Calculated?

Landed cost is the total cost of getting imported goods from the supplier to the point where they are ready for use or sale. It can include the purchase price, international freight, insurance, customs duties, taxes, brokerage, port or terminal charges, inland transportation and other shipment-specific costs.
